The Mariana Fruit Bat is a rare and essential bat living on Guam and the Mariana Islands. It is crucially in need of your help because it is overhunted, devoured by non-natives, and its habitats are destroyed. This makes it an extremely endangered species. Only with your help can it be saved.

What's Happening?

Did You Know?
  • From 1976 - 1998 Mariana fruit bats declined an estimated 90% (Wiles, 2004)

  • Less than 50 Mariana Fruit Bats remain on Guam (Mariana, 2012)

  • There are zero non-profits directly working to save this species (Draft, 2009).
